What a fantastic weekend!
This past weekend Rotarians and Interacts had the opportunity to take 26 underprivileged children to the Rotary Resort (SWEMBE) at Badplaas. What a fantastic weekend!
The children arrived on Friday by bus and had an afternoon of games and jumping castle. After dinner, they watched Frozen and judging from the laughter, really enjoyed it.
On Saturday the children were taken to Badplaas for swimming and volley ball. The afternoon was dedicated to practicing for the concert and more jumping castle. After dinner, the children and Interacts participated in a concert. All the children performed with singing, dancing and acting. It was truly amazing. The children ended their evening with a movie.
On Sunday the children went to Badplaas after breakfast for more swimming and playing. After lunch the children had to board the bus to go back home. It was very sad to say goodbye.
